The Movie Lincoln in the Hearst Auditorium
The movie Lincoln starring Daniel Day-Lewis will be played on Friday, March 28th in the Hearst Auditorium. It will start at 3:10 and conclude at 5:40. This movie is a great way to get a feel for the era and to learn more about the passage of the thirteenth amendment. All students are welcome!
Killing Lincoln Site
Last year, National Geographic debuted a movie based on the book Killing Lincoln by Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard. The link below is to a site that provides a wealth of great information about the assassination including the planning, the day of the assassination, and the pursuit of those involved. It is detailed, interesting, and user-friendly.
